Choosing The Right Leather

One of the most important steps in the creation of any wallet is choosing the materials.

Here at Von Baer, we only use the highest grade of leather known as "full grain leather", which is the best available on the market. This makes our wallets more durable, and more water resistant that others, allowing it to look as good as new for many years, and retain that fantastic real leather smell.

Careful Manufacturing Process

Using a combination of machinery and hand made touches, we are able to finish our wallets with an exceptional quality, every single time.

Each product is fully inspected after it's been assembled, making sure the edges are up to standard and it contains all of the right sections.

Each section of the wallet is cut and carefully edged to ensure it's ready to be assembled.

Trims and definitions are often created using stamps.

Scores are created by a skiving edger, and sewing is done by a sewing machine.

Von Baer wallets come in various different shapes and sizes, and two different leather colours: brown or black.

We also use the same quality of leather on our briefcases, laptop bags, and other business bags.
