• Full-grain A-grade leather, made to last a lifetime: every piece uses the top layer of the hide with the natural grain preserved in full. We cut from the bend, the back and butt of the hide where the fibers are densest and tightest, and select A-grade hides only from Bos Taurus cattle. Hides with excessive bites, scars, or surface damage don't make the selection, which is why the grain looks clean and even across the finished product.
• Drum-dyed, so the color runs all the way through: We drum-dye the leather, so the color runs all the way through it: if it's ever scuffed, the leather underneath is the same shade, not the pale mark surface-dyed leather shows.
• Complimentary hand-embossed initials on almost every piece: check the personalization box on the product page and add her initials. They're embossed by hand before it ships (on bags, onto the included leather tag).
