• Full-grain leather, drum-dyed on our smooth-leather pieces to keep its color: on those pieces, we select A-grade hides only from Bos Taurus cattle and cut them from the bend, where the fibers are densest. We drum-dye the leather, so the color runs all the way through it: if it's ever scuffed, the leather underneath is the same shade, not the pale mark surface-dyed leather shows. That means the gift keeps its clean finish years into daily use.
• Hand-embossed initials at no extra charge: check the personalization box on the product page and add up to four uppercase initials. We apply them by hand for precise placement and depth, before shipping. Most pieces take blind embossing: the initials are pressed into the leather with no ink or foil, so they show only as a tone-on-tone impression. We switch to gold embossing on the pebble-leather items, stamped in gold foil for a visible monogram. On most bags, the initials go on the included leather luggage tag.
• Gift-wrapped and ready to give: wallets, card holders, purses and other smaller pieces arrive wrapped in tissue in our gift box and gift bag, and larger bags come in a soft cotton dust bag. Hand it over just as it arrives.

How does the personalization work?
