Every gift in this range is made from full-grain leather, selected from A-grade hides and drum-dyed so the color runs all the way through.

• Full-grain leather from A-grade hides, for a gift that outlasts the occasion: we use the uppermost layer of the hide, with the natural grain preserved in full. For each piece we select A-grade hides only from Bos Taurus cattle and cut them from the bend, the back and butt of the hide, where the fibers are densest and tightest. Cheaper "genuine" leather is a lower grade with that strong outer layer removed, and bonded leather is glued together from scraps, which is why both crack and peel within a year or two.
• Drum-dyed, so the color runs all the way through: We drum-dye the leather, so the color runs all the way through it: if it's ever scuffed, the leather underneath is the same shade, not the pale mark surface-dyed leather shows.
• Complimentary embossed initials on almost every piece: most products can be embossed with up to four uppercase initials. Check the personalization box on the product page and add the initials; they are embossed by hand before the piece ships.
• Gift-wrapped and ready to give: wallets, card holders and other smaller pieces arrive wrapped in tissue in our gift box and gift bag. Larger bags come in a soft cotton dust bag.
• 5-Year Limited Warranty across the range: we stand behind every piece for five years against defects in materials or workmanship, because each one is made to be carried for decades.
• RFID blocking on most wallets, card holders, purses and passport holders: a discreet layer beneath the lining shields contactless cards from unauthorized scans, built in on every card-carrying piece in the range except the Essence Leather Card Case.

FAQs

Which of these leather gifts can be personalized with initials, and is there a charge?

Most products can be embossed with complimentary initials at no additional charge, up to four uppercase letters on most pieces (up to three on the Elegance Leather Tote Bag and Estelle Small Leather Tote Bag). Blind embossing is used on the smooth-leather items; gold embossing on the pebble-leather pieces. On bags, the initials go on the included leather luggage tag (on the Elegance and Estelle totes, on the leather tag attached to the bag).

Do these gifts arrive ready to give?

Yes. Smaller pieces arrive wrapped in tissue in a Von Baer gift box and bag, and bags come in a soft cotton dust bag, ready to hand over.
