• Cuoio Superiore Certified Full-Grain Leather: We use Cuoio Superiore certified full-grain leather, laboratory-tested batch by batch, with A-grade hides cut from the bend, where the fibers are densest. That is why our leather develops a rich patina rather than the cracking and peeling of corrected or bonded alternatives. Every executive briefcase in this range uses the same certified leather, from the slim 14-inch silhouette up to the triple-gusset flagship.
• Signature Hardware Throughout: Every zipper, lock, D-ring and protective metal foot on these briefcases passes four separate checks by four different teams. We hold the closures to that standard because hardware is the most common bag failure point, and low-grade plated alloy chips at the joints under daily wear and tarnishes through cold-and-wet commute cycles. Our zippers are precision brass, the combination we settled on because it keeps its finish where cheaper pulls chip.

Our embossing placement is on the tag rather than the bag itself because the only marks on the bag are the small VB deboss pressed into the leather and the engraved Von Baer lettering on the lock and zipper hardware.
