We drum-dye the leather, so the color runs all the way through it: if it's ever scuffed, the leather underneath is the same shade, not the pale mark surface-dyed leather shows. Where bonded or corrected leather can crack and peel, full-grain keeps its refined look through years of daily use.
• Blind embossing on almost every piece, hand-pressed and permanent: Our blind embossing is hand-applied: no ink, no thread, no foil to wear away. The impression is pressed into the grain of the leather and stays there. Check the personalization box on the product page and add the initials; they're embossed before it ships. On bags and briefcases, the initials go on the matching leather luggage tag included with each one.
• Handmade, with hardware checked by four teams: Every product in this collection is handmade, and we stand behind every piece for five years against defects in materials or workmanship, because each one is made to be carried for decades. Every hardware component passes four separate quality checks by four different teams before it reaches a finished piece.
