Made from authentic full-grain leather — the uppermost, most valuable layer of the hide, with the natural grain preserved in full — unlike corrected-grain, split or 'genuine leather' products
Cut from the bend — the back and butt of the hide, where the fibers are densest and tightest. Von Baer uses A-grade hides, the top selection grade: hides with excessive bites, scars and surface damage are rejected
Drum-dyed leather: color penetrates the entire cross-section. Look at the cut edge: if the color goes all the way through, it's drum-dyed
Every hardware component passes four separate quality checks by four different teams. Across 5,000+ locked briefcases sold over 10 years, recorded lock failures are under 0.1%
Precision brass zippers, independently tested by accredited third-party laboratories for corrosion resistance, color-fastness and metal safety
Never on sale, never overpriced: one honest price, backed by a 5-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. No additional import duties or taxes for customers in the US, Canada, the UK, EU countries and 16 other countries, including Australia, Japan, Switzerland and the UAE
